Meet the Staff Vol. 4: Business Development

The Business Development team at Divine Signs is in charge of bringing in new business, and managing those customers from beginning to end. The Business Development team attends and is heavily involved in local Business Associations, are the main points of contact for a majority of our customers, and manage projects through each stage of design, production, and installation. Do you have a question about a current signage need? Do you need someone to come out to your location to brainstorm ideas for branding your business? Do you need one point of contact who can take a project OFF of your list, and get it done? If this is you, our Business Development team is here to help!! They can provide pricing, creative and clever ideas, and help to bring your ideas to fruition. They coordinate with all departments to get your project done on time, on budget, and up to your standards.

The Business Development Team consists of 3 members (Left to Right):

Michael Bigda: Michael just completed his first full year with Divine, and joined our team after a successful career in Sales Management and Marketing at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Entertainment Publications and U.S. Cellular. Michael is the definition of a “people person”, and most everyone who deals with Michael ends up thrilled with the finished product and high-level of customer service. Michael lives with his wife and two children in St. Charles, and loves all things environmental, family, and sports!

JR Miller: JR Miller, the eldest son of our owner Jeff Miller, has been with the company since its inception, but has been full time since he graduated from Valparaiso in 2008. JR brings a wealth of knowledge to the team through his experience in the sign industry, and manages some the company’s largest accounts. If JR is not in the office, he is most likely performing in Chicago with his saxophone in hand. JR is an extremely talented musician and is a regular at places like The House of Blues, Buddy Guy’s Legends, and The Metro.

Mike Miller: Mike Miller, the youngest son of our owner Jeff Miller, has been with the company since he graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2014. Mike has a hybrid role that consists of project management, as well as community development and marketing. Mike is also the BEST looking member of the entire Divine Signs team, and as you can tell, writes all of the blogs. Mike lives with his wife and dog in Elk Grove Village, and if he is not spending quality time with his wife, you can most likely find him chasing his next trophy fish with his father Jeff.
