Branding in Multiple Locations

Branding in Multiple Locations

Branding an entire building can be a daunting task. There are many factors that need to be accounted for when undertaking the branding of a new building. The colors, theme, and placement must be perfect to create the best customer experience. I know what you’re thinking. If all these factors need to be lined up for just ONE building, what do I do if I have 3 locations, 5, or even 10??? Take a quick look at our tips below for branding more than 1 location. It CAN be done!

  • Capability. Step 1 to a successful branch-wide branding project is finding a sign company who has done it before, and has the expertise to guide you through the process. Your “Sign Guy/Gal” should be able to brainstorm clever and cost effective solutions, assist you with design and preliminary concepts, and can fabricate and install the finished product. Although this seems like a no-brainer, a CAPABLE partner is the key to success!
  • Consistency. A common mistake that business owners with more than 1 location make is trying to re-invent the wheel at each location. Although an additional location is exciting and new, it is important to emulate the success of your previous locations so you can duplicate what your customers have come to know and love. You should fix old mistakes, and make each location better than the last, but your customers should see a consistent message and branding scheme at each branch they visit.
  • Simplicity. This final tip is the best way to maintain a professional and clean cut look across your buildings. Do not overwhelm your customers with signage and branding. YES, WE DO LOVE SIGNS, but we also realize that one well-placed sign has more impact than ten poorly placed signs.

At Divine Signs, we know that branch-wide branding is a challenge for our customers; but we also know that it can be done, and done well. If you need a SIGN PARTNER who is CAPABLE, can keep your buildings CONSISTENT, and maintain SIMPLICITY, give us call! Our team of experts can help you every step of the way!
