All buildings have one thing in common. The people who own them or run them want the customer experience to be as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Whether you are a private or publicly owned business, state run institution, not-for-profit, or even in the health care sector, you always want to people inside of your building to have as positive of an experience as possible.
We have all been inside the building, wandering around aimlessly, that is in extreme need of way-finding signage. Not only is that a waste of time, but leaves you with a negative connotation of that building or business.
Good interior and exterior way-finding signage is a customer service issue! When you have bad way-finding signage, you have unhappy visitors. When you have unhappy visitors, they don’t want to come back to your location. When they don’t want to come back to your location, they may do business with someone else. When they do business with someone else, they won’t be referring you to their friends and colleagues!!! Don’t have bad way-finding signage.
